Monday's Post has an article covering the Five Guys expansion. Of interest is the level of detail in the franchise agreement although evidence in this forum indicates wider variablity in quality than desired by the Murrells. One hundred new east coast locations next year and 1,000 more being phased in.

I caught restaurateur David Winer's interesting struggle to get Merkado up and running on Fine Living's Opening Soon today. Well isn't it a struggle to get any restaurant opened It was the first time I have seen a DC restaurant covered on the show. Here's a link to the schedule if you want to check it out yourself.
