I buy most of my Italian wine at Au Domaine these days in Old Town. Not a huge selection, but very nice wines.

I see Fuller's London Pride in a number of places in Alexandria (Rick's, Unwined for sure, and I think even World Market). I also have seen Old Speckled Hen. Both are good, but I like London Pride a little better.

I stop by regularly on my way home from Metro to pick up something to grill. I really enjoy the Martin's aged beef that they sell.
