If anyone knows of anywhere to get edible food (local spots or decent chains, not picky on this one), I would greatly appreciate the information. We will be spending the next four days here on an unexpected and unfortunate trip (death in the family). We have limited Internet (only my phone), and I am hungry and scared of the options.

Don't know what you really have in mind, but if you can get over to Huntington W VA, and appreciate true hole-in-the-wall places, and hot dogs, Huntington is fairly well known for its dogs. Stewarts and Frostop seem to be the best. I can personally attest to Stewarts. See this link

I just found the starbucks for the first time this evening - can't wait to skip the mccafe tomorrow. And this part of the family is southern baptist, so this is a dry trip.
