TedE
This is just sorta creepy. http://www.seriouseats.com/2008/10/in-vide...-turkey-co.html Ummm, why is that turkey sh****ing out a baby?!?! Same with the lobster. Somehow I don't think she thought that one through very carefully.
zoramargolis
Come on. What mother out there hasn't said something to their baby along the lines of: "Ooh, you're so CUTE I could just eat you UP!"?

TinDC
My 7-week old boy is going to be a lobster for Halloween because his big sister is going to be The Little Mermaid. I won't be putting him on a platter, though. He is supposed to be Sebastian to her Ariel even though technically, Sebastian is a crab in the movie. ol_ironstomach
Tykes lolling around as a whole piece of fruit, or a peapod, or a flower or something...those would be okay. But lying supine as a pie waiting to be cut up? That just gives me the heebie jeebies.
Hannah
There are some baby-as-food costumes you expect to see. Like the pumpkin - we see at least one pumpkin-babe-in-arms every year. These, now - these are not only wrong, a lot of them would be impossible to carry. Your baby isn't a centerpiece, people!
lackadaisi
As my avatar demonstrates, I like a tasty baby every once in a while.
