Tasting Panel Magazine dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak (October 16, 6 p.m.)

On Tuesday, October 16 at 6 p.m., Charlie Palmer Steak is hosting a dinner and wine pairing event featuring the Double Gold winners of the 2008 San Francisco International Wine Competition and the 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Two of the winners are Virginia wines -- Gray Ghost 2007, Late Harvest Vidal Blanc; and Rappahannock Cellars 2006 Cabernet Franc.

This dinner is hosted by wine and spirits personality Anthony Dias Blue and The Tasting Panel Magazine. There will be a welcome reception tasting of 20-30 Double Gold wines and spirits, followed by a dinner paired with Double Gold winning wines. The menu will be paired exclusively with a selection of Double Gold winners, and Mr. Blue will provide a course-by-course narrative.
