Halloween
My brother and I are throwing my mom a surprise birthday party on Nov. 15. We're having the party at my house (and my brother is catering), but we're receiving more RSVPs than we expected, so we may have to change the location. Any suggestions? We're not trying to break the bank and would prefer a place that does not have a lot of stairs and will allow us to bring the food, although the former is more important than the latter. Thanks for your suggestions!
Scott Johnston
See if there is a local church, VFW Hall, Moose, Bear, Squirrl, elk or my faviorite oddfellow lodge. Many of these have inexpensive rooms that can be rented out and have setup facilities. Let us know the time and date and we will make sure there are plenty of guests here. hillvalley
Washington Very Special Arts, two blocks from the White House, has a great space. It's on the third or forth floor but has an elevator. Let me know if you want more details, I know the space well.
