Thanksgiving Day Lunch?

Mr. BLB's parents are flying in tomorrow morning and he is in a panic about lunch. Last year we ended up at Starbuck's, which he doesn't want to repeat. Something where we could grab a soup and salad between BWI and Gaithersburg would be perfect.

Maybe G&M right near BWI? I meant to try it tonight, but it didn't work out. Supposedly their crabcakes are great, but they also have soups and salads.

It's always best to pray for an ethnic restaurant being open mid-day on a holiday (either that or carryout). I think there's a Chick-Fil-A off the Parkway by Medieval Times, but assuming you're coming down I-95 ... there's nothing. Urban BBQ off the NH Avenue exit. Kenny's Chicken in Four Corners off of 193. Woodside Deli off of Georgia Ave. Nothing off Conn, Wisc, or Old Gtown. You're screwed. Maybe Pho 88 in Beltsville off Powder Mill and the Parkway? Ikea? Shen Yang in College Park? Chef Theo's in White Oak? (for a salad it should be harmless enough). Pho 75 or Woodlands in Langley Park? As my momma used to say, rotsa ruck.
