Just a reminder for those who work downtown and get stuck in the gridlocked traffic when trying to leave work on the day of the National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony...consider staying downtown and eating out!

Every year I try to plan to do this, but seem to forget to check for the actual date. This year it almost happened again, but I was given tix for the Caps game and gladly took them! Now I can't vouch for traffic all over the city, but at least in the Golden Triangle/Central Business District areas it can be a real pain in the arse.
