Just got an email from Charlie Palmer Steak with their New Year's Eve menu (below). Anyone else hearing about or seeing special menus that sound appealing? I usually don't go out on NYEve, but might make actually an exception this year; although, we'll go out on the early side, so as not to get caught up in the amateur night shenanigans.

FIRST COURSE

Pan-Roasted Wild Striped Bass with Cauliflower and picked herbs

SECOND COURSE

Butter Poached Maine Lobster “Rossini”, Seared Hudson Valley Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Black Perigord Winter Truffles, truffle syrup, tiny mache

THIRD COURSE

Muscovy Duck, Roasted and Confit, juniper and navel orange essence, braised double-smoked bacon lardon and savoy cabbage

MAIN COURSE

Slow Braised Short Rib and Grilled Roseda Farms Strip, Boulanger Potatoes and Braised Asian Greens

DESSERT

Peanut Butter Mousse Terrine, Sweet Cream, and Candied Nuts
