It is now undergoing some remodeling and expansion. The job is available now, but willing to wait for the right person. The Restaurant features A main floor dining room, with full bar, a second floor used for events and receptions, and a roof top with full bar that will have an additional service kitchen with wood burning pizza oven. Also the addition of a swanky Jazz Club is in the works for the lower level. The owner already operates a Jazz Club in Washington. The owner is the operator of other venues in Washington. The owner has a close relationship with a local organic farmer for produce, meats and other products for use @ the restaurant. This restaurant is a busy place frequented by young Washingtonians. The ideal candidate would be someone who is currently an up and coming Sous Chef at a comparable venue ready for the next step or an ambitious Chef de Cuisine who is ready to make a name for him or herself. Must have an eclectic palate and able to handle high volume. A quick start will ensure the chance to shape the menu, that will have a focus on easy execution, quality ingredients, simple preparations but elegant.
