DonRocks
A Plato Completo de Tacos (de res) ($9.95) did nothing to change my perception that the overwhelming majority of Salvadoran restaurants in this area are good for one thing: cheap food, and lots of it. Four double-wrapped tacos filled with overcooked beef mixed in with diced tomato, onion, and cilantro, room-temperature refried beans, and white rice specked with frozen vegetables, served with a little tub of mildly interesting chimol, the fiery-hot Salvadoran radish-based salsa. Las Americas is open until 2 AM seven days a week. Cheers, Rocks.

Ericandblueboy
Sadly, one website isr reporting that Las Americas has closed. Is it true? It's still open. I went by this morning around 11:30. Didn't stop in to eat (never have) but the neon lights are on and the open sign was flashing.
