Solo Dining on a Friday

I am looking for somewhere I can have a good dinner while dining solo on a Friday night that won't leave deaf or broke.

I'd like it to be in dc or bethesda and I don't want to do Palena or Dino again.

I also really don't like eating at the bar.

I'm perfectly happy to go on the very early side too.

The bar at Corduroy will change your mind. Put yourself in Pichan's hands and order the $30 3-course menu. You seriously can't go wrong there.

What about sushi at Raku? Or Bombay Club in DC? Both fairly reasonable and not too loud. Before I read the bar part I thought Corduroy too, it really isn't too bary. Or Palena Cafe or Ardeo+Bardeo (it isn't RW week yet is it? If so then don't do Ardeo+Bardeo)?

I fear I have yet to have a good experience at Corduroy since the move.

I ended up at Proof. Not too loud at 5:30. More than I wanted to spend but every bite was perfect.
