agm Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 WOW! He's been talking about this for a while. I hope it works out, though I would have preferred something in Arlington. Georgetown? Ugh. I hope he has a good source for pigs
MODWOP Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Sounds fantastic, and I can't wait for the opening day.....although it will be hard to match the charm of buying one's meat and pork products from the back of a Mitsubishi Montero.

B.A.R. Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 This is great news. I thought about his sausages over the weekend and was going to see where he was selling them now. Now I know. And Griffin Market used to have a BWL license. I hope this transfers.
Waitman Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Now open! Everyone looked a little frantic as sandwich assembly ket Jamie, son and partner (?) slinging incredible-looking grinders and awsome-appearing pastramie at hungry Georegtowners needing a Sunday snack. So far we've been through some excellent steaks and wiesswurst, without having delved into the charcuterie. Things still look a little barren, I hope they'll find accompaniments to their meats that increase their revenue and shorten my shopping day. Mustards or something -- maybe get that wine license back. At any rate, they seem to be off to a rousing start and I look forward to hearing about the pastrami -- if I don't get around to tasting it, first.
ad.mich Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Are they updating what is for sale/in stock anywhere online? The Brand website and Facebook page don't seem to be doing it. If I'm going to brave Georgetown while they're still finding their footing I'd kind of like to know what's in the cooler case. OK I just want to know if he's selling the boudin daily.
