bookluvingbabe Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I'm going up to NY in a few weeks to see Paul Gross in Private Lives. We have late lunch (2:30 pm) reservations on Friday at Jean-Georges and then plan to have something simple for dinner in Brooklyn. We are having brunch on Saturday at David Burke Kitchen prior to the theater. My questions: 1) Is there someplace I could have a light snack/modest lunch as early as 11 or 11:30 on Friday and then spend the next few hours walking so I could be ready for lunch at 2:30? I haven't bought my train tickets yet but it seems a shame to waste a dining opportunity. I am willing to cab. walk, subway. 2) We will get out of the theater by 5 pm. I'm going to take an 8pm train. Where can I get something terrific somewhere between Broadway and Penn Station that won't be a zoo on a Saturday night? Thanks!
