I'm probably very wrong, but they gave you a fork instead of a spoon? Bingo! Have you ever noticed how often you get a spoon for pie? For cake, for cryin' out loud? For just about any dessert? PappyVanWise
Yes, it is the newest Bon Chon franchise, but not in Arlington. This one happened to open up this week in Richmond. It's in a 2 mile triangle with a Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings, so the Wing Wars have begun.

cheezepowder
By my count, these are still outstanding: ^That's it. Here's another: Where did I dine? (sorry the multi quote didn't pick up the pictures for porcupine and ScotteeM, but click on the trackback arrow to see the picture) I schlepped to meet a friend for lunch. It wasn't fancy, but my sandwich was pretty darned tasty. There's a distant tie to Gifford's for any longtime locals who remember the good ole days -- though I think that tie is to more recent (not great) days. Where did I dine? I'm a fan of small portions and eight bucks for an appetizer doesn't seem like a lot to me, but you have a point. This was delicious but many people wouldn't see it as a good value.
