Joe H
I know nothing about the author nor even know who "Tim" is. (Carmen?) I just have a great deal of respect for the talent that wrote a wonderful essay.

I just have a great deal of respect for the talent that wrote a wonderful essay. Joe, Carrie Allen is married to Tim Carman. She works as the editor of the Humane Society magazine. And she is a poet and published short story writer. (Check out her blog, http://ecstaticdoggerel.blogspot.com/) She is also a talented visual artist who paints and makes jewelry. And she's gorgeous. And hysterically funny.
