Upgrade to Invision 3.4.5 - Report Any Issues Here

Sorry for shouting, but this is important.

If you (like me) are having trouble posting, it's probably because of a recent Invision upgrade to the latest bug-free (irony of ironies) version.

There was a sore-thumb level of low posting activity today, and I suspect others are having problems, too.

Here's what you need to do:

1) Reset your browser (each browser has it's own method), but clear the cache however you can

2) Reboot your computer

3) Visit any topic, and click on CTRL-F5 (or for a Mac, CMD-R)

4) Click "Quote" to reply to a topic with quoted text.

5) If it doesn't look normal, click CTRL-F5 (or CMD-R) again, then click "Quote" again.

After you've done this, please report all bugs in this thread (I'll move it to News and Media tomorrow, where it will remain). I'll summarize the bug reports, and let Invision know about them.

Replying to quoted text has been a big problem (especially for me, since I do it 50 times a day) that has reportedly been fixed with this new release.

Don, when trying to edit posts in the Virginia Small Cities and Towns thread in Intrepid Traveler, I'm unable to insert anything above quoted text. Clearing the cache and restarting the browser didn't change a thing. Help?

I wrote Elizabeth and we solved this. (If you get "stuck" inside the box, use the up-arrow key.)

Is anyone *but* me having problems with the "disappearing quote box?" To find out if you are ...

Click "Quote" to reply with quoted text (to this post is fine)

Is there a blank line at the top?

If so, then position the cursor there, and press "Delete"

Did the quote box disappear?

If so, then there's probably a bug

If not, then I haven't completely flushed out my browser

Darn it, Invision confirmed that it's a bug. :(
