Here's a blog that has nothing to do with food.  Friends convinced me to start this, I think because they were tired of hearing me go on all the time about wildflowers.    A love of hiking and plants in general developed over a few years into a passion for finding and identifying new flowers, especially natives.  Naturally, photography soon followed.

There's an incredible abundance of wildflowers in the Great Falls/Carderock area.  We are blessed to live so close to a still-wild river.
