jandres374 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 All of our downspout extensions were buried by the previous owners and I suspect done incorrectly as evidenced by the issues we are having now with the lines backing up and not draining correctly. We have had a few people out who have offered elaborate and expensive solutions ($7,500) to fix the issues. I have been trying unsuccessfully to get some additional estimates but have only become more frustrated as people don't show up, don't call back or call back only to say they are too busy. Can anyone recommend either a landscaper or basement waterproofer who might be able to help us out. We are located in Bethesda.
DonRocks Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I'm having trouble picturing this - can't you just dig them up? Or disconnect one from the downspout and try to snake it, and see what happens? It's possible they just got clogged with dirt.
jandres374 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Tried snaking my self and with a plumber to no avail. They are buried under a stone patio - don't have the time or know how to reset paver stones.
