Dining in Clarksburg, MD

I thought I would write a few capsule reviews on the dining mecca of Clarksburg, MD in Upper Montgomery County. (This is at Don Rockwell's suggestion.)

...

While I am far from being a vegan, or a vegetarian, you didn't mention Great Sage.  I've been there several times and found it to be enjoyable.  If you buy into the concept, plant-based organic food, it can be quite tasty.  Definitely do vegan food better than most places that specialize in such.  It is our go to when a couple of my militant vegan relatives visit.

dinwiddie, Bill didn't mention Great Sage because you made what might be the single easiest mistake to make for diners in the Baltimore-Washington region: you conflated Clarksburg (Montgomery County) with Clarksville (Howard County). I do it all the time myself, and quite frankly, I'm surprised that nobody else has ever done it here - but that's probably only because there are very few restaurants in either town.

The only way I'm able to avoid confusing the two is by remembering The Monkees' song "Last Train To Clarksville" - I envision a MARC train heading up towards Howard County. Pretty lame, I admit, but it works (although you need to remember it's "Last Train to ClarksVILLE" which is not a slam dunk).
