After the Scottish Walk today in Old Town, we spotted a new candy store in the Old Town Market at Lee and Cameron Sts. They are opening Monday, but offered to let us have a look-see around. Necco Wafers and Charleston Chews of all varieties first caught my eye. Many other hard to get or childhood favorites line cubbie boxes along one wall. There is an immpressive selection of gummies, smarties and the like in addition to a large counter of fine chocolates and truffles. I did not ask, but my impression is that they do not make the confections themselves.

Thier front window faces Lee St., a couple doors down from the not yet opened OverWood.

Looks like Lee St. may be pulling us back for business, as it once did when Ecco served (for a time) good Italian-American food.
