Mark Slater
In LA last week, I had an absolutely great dinner at Comme Ça [Closed in Jun, 2014] on North La Cienega. Every French bistro classic was on the menu. Bustling, loud and lots of fun.
hmmboy
In LA last week, I had an absolutely great dinner at Comme í‡a [Closed in Jun, 2014] on North La Cienega. Every French bistro classic was on the menu. Bustling, loud and lots of fun. Glad to hear that Mark - have always enjoyed my meals at David Meyers' flagship - Sona [Closed in May, 2010]. Comme í‡a got a terrific review from the LA Times a few weeks ago and there is a story on it in this month's Food Arts. Going to LA for 3 nights in late Feb. Have dinner reservations at Comme í‡a, Osteria Mozza (loved Pizzeria Mozza when I went last Feb), and Fraiche [Closed in Jun, 2012] (which was just awarded best new restaurant of 2007 from LA magazine). Strictly R&D of course. Will report back.
