I couldn't find the original studio recording online, but here's a live version of "Yesterday", a song that wouldn't be what it is without the addition of George's strings: "George Martin Dies: Paul McCartney Credits Producer with 'Yesterday' Success in Touching Tribute" by Lewis Dean on ibtimes.co.uk I wish I had been a fly on the wall during those recording sessions.
