DonRocks Posted November 3, 2017 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Here's how much I knew: I found out today that since 1999, indoor volleyball has had a position called the Libero - a defensive specialist used for returning serves in the back row: Good servers were serving too many aces against 6'6" spikers when they rotated to the back, so this position was created.
