Milan Design Week restaurant recommendations

There's a restaurant in the old city called Boeucc. It's inside a former Medici palace and has been in existence for 325 years. It is a very grand restaurant just around the corner from La Scala. I had dinner there with a very diverse group of international folks , and I was impressed when the waiter took the order in 7 different languages.   The famous Cutlet was very good. One word of caution in Milan, apparently it is illegal to serve cappuccino after 10:30 in the morning.

I had a remarkable and indelible meal at Platina near the central train station.  It's a pasta factory that added a small restaurant focusing on, of course, pasta.

down near the duomo, I'd check out Peck.  It's a market with two restaurants.  I tried the more casual of the two and was very happy with it.

the food at Bar Luce was fine, but if you're in town for design (or if you're a Wes Anderson fan) then you have to stop by at least for a snack or drink.
