Depending on the dates, the Biltmore usually finds itself on the lower end of the cost spectrum for hotels in its class which causes me to look upon it with favor.  A hotel since 1923, it has over-sized lobby and bar spaces and an ornate decor that really speaks to another era.  You can read a bit about its history on Wikipedia.  The rooms are more than serviceable.  The Biltmore has 4 places to eat and drink so you will not go hungry or thirsty (although you may find yourself venturing outside to visit Water Grill just down the block).  I'd stay here, and in fact I have.  Recommended.

I have no idea whether this is the Biltmore that served as the inspiration for The Vacation episode of the Abbott and Costello Show, but I would suspect so.  I am a big fan of the Abbott and Costello Show.

Typically only one, unless I get thrown out. The Biltmore was the previous trip. Don’t get me started about the Hilton Checkers.
