The Kuskokwim River - That "Big, Slow-Moving Thing" Traversing Southwestern Alaska

The Kuskokwim River is the 9th-largest river in the United States, measured by drainage at the basin. Its origins are just to the southwest of Denali National Park (itself larger than the state of New Hampshire), and the main branch flows for 702 miles, emptying into the Bering Sea. It's the second-largest river in Alaska, after the mighty Yukon.

Here is where it flows, from Medfra, into Kuskokwim Bay.
