Long before the "selfie" was a thing, Rembrandt was crushing the self portraits. During his career he produced almost 100 self portraits, including 40 paintings and 31 etchings. Needless to say he was prolific! He was the Alfred Hitchcock cameo before there was an Alfred Hitchcock cameo - he even painted himself into "The Night Watch."
