New owners convert West Virginia arctic char farm, the only one east of the Mississippi, to raise salmon instead.

This was a really interesting operation. Arctic char are in the salmon family, and the most northern-ranging freshwater fish in the world. They need cold water, and West Virginia Aqua had developed a facility that could raise them inland using very cold spring water from old coal mines. Slide show here.
