Ilaine
NYTimes article on ethnic grocery stores says that "while it’s true that Brooklyn and Queens have cavernous Indian, Chinese, Brazilian and Russian supermarkets you could lose your afternoon in, you’d have to be obsessive to want to cover that much territory in a weekend." OK, lookit. I never even heard of a Brazilian supermarket, much less a "cavernous" one. Anybody have insight into "cavernous Indian, Chinese, Brazilian and Russian supermarkets" in Brooklyn and Queens. Is this a relative concept, relative to say, the teeny-tiny Manhattan bodegas?
