Any else read this? It's about the author's quest to find her roots through her family's culinary history.

As Dan Cole, son of Bob Cole, son of Yolanda Cole née Schenone, as someone who grew up eating ravioli pretty much identical to what's described in the book, I could not help but be touched.

Even if your family doesn't come from Liguria as mine does, it's definitely worth a gander:
