Well, thistle+2 and Kibbee Nayee made four, and a nice meal was had. I'll allow thistle to comment on the soups. I devoured two banh mi for a grand total of $6, one being a roasted pork and one being a meatball, and I prefer these over many others I've had from here to Falls Church. Looking forward to returning....

Dang. I got tied up at work this afternoon too. Oh well. Will try again some other time!

I attended the picnic this week at the insistence of Kate M., and had a great time. Previously, I'd limited my activities to lurking and checking out the restaurant reviews

About me: I'm old (28), crotchety (at least until I can figure out how to fix my profile pic), and I live in Del Ray (incidentally, I'm looking for a roommate). I can cook well enough, and I spend basically all of my discretionary income on food. I like to eat in places with questionable food safety standards. I will drink all your Scotch at the first opportunity.

Regarding my connection to the industry, I'm a shareholder in Cajun Experience, which just recently opened a new sub-street level restaurant near Dupont.
