Sheila Lukins

NY Times reported today that Sheila Lukins passed away yesterday from brain cancer (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/31/dining/31lukins.html?_r=1&ref=obituaries).

Her cookbooks, especially the Good Times one, were early inspirations for me, and continue to see much use in my kitchen. I still remember the first time I used phyllo dough and goat cheese, to make the cheese kisses appetizers.
