Bakers and Baristas on 7th might be worth adding. Not targeting the same market as, say, Chinatown, but well-priced and well-brewed. I might also add the Red Apron on D downtown, although I realize that they may technically be a chain.

Either of the Arrowine locations. The one in DC has a nice, but eccentric, spirits selection.

Went here about two months ago. I had the roast beef sandwich. It was - as advertised - quite a lot of food. It was also extremely wet though pretty tasty. (Not close to as good as the Tune Inn's.)
The deep fried pickles that were ordered as a side were a big disappointment. It's the only time I've had them, but a friend who was more familiar said they rated poorly. They get some credit for stocking Moxie soda though.
Bottom line: given it's location, I'll probably go back, but am in no particular rush about it.

Interesting. Chat's said they hadn't stocked it in years. Will check out the others.
Thanks!

Does anyone know of a DC liquor store that stocks Casa Noble tequila? I recently tried it at Oyamel, and it bowled me over. I've been keeping an eye out for it ever since, but have had little luck.

Four Roses Small Batch bourbon. My god it's good.

Howdy. My name's Nate. I'm moving back to the DC area after half a decade's absence, some of which was spent in the Bay Area. While I already miss Blue Bottle, the Broken Record, Delfina's, and a host of other places there, I look forward to exploring the capitol's new food scene.
Cheers,
Nate
PS. I haven't had a professional connection to any food-related industry since high school, and that was a long, long time ago.

Oh, and Maketto on H should definitely be added. Pretty fantastic product there.
