good day to everyone here on DR, my name is Lor Kats, i am the chef de cuisine at the Light Horse Restaurant in Old Town Alexandria, VA, and am stoked to be a part of this website. i am a whopping 22 years old and have been working in kitchens for eight years of my still young life. in my spare time i like to farm, read, save communities from hostage situations, and dance like no one's watching. the first thing i ever made was grilled cheese. no bread, just cheese on a grill. oh also im reeeeeeally funny. bam!

Hello folks of DR.com, some exciting things at the forefront of the Light Horse schedule right now... There are still some seats left for the Beer Dinner with Devil's Backbone on Tuesday, September 18. 7:00 PM. 4 courses paired with some great beers for $55 per person. Menu and pairings below:
