Help Plan Taste of the Nation DC

Join the Planning Committee for the Best Tasting Event in the City

Love the DC dining scene? Want to help end childhood hunger in America? Join Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation DC committee to help plan Washington’s premier culinary tasting event. Taste of the Nation DC chairs invite DC foodies to join the entire committee for an information volunteer recruitment happy hour at Hank’s Oyster Bar in Dupont Circle from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10. Happy hour specials and select specialty cocktails will be available for purchase as we provide further insight and information on how to become a Taste of the Nation DC 2013 committee volunteer!

Taste of the Nation DC brings together the city’s best chefs, restaurants and mixologists who lend their time and talent to help raise the critical funds necessary to help ensure no kid goes hungry. This year’s event will be held at on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the National Building Museum. Culinary council members include Victor Albisu of Taco Bamba, Scott Drewno of The Source, Mike Isabella of Graffiato & Bandolero, and Nicholas Stefanelli of Bibiana. Additionally, Gina Chersevani of Hank’s on the Hill and Union Market will serve as the mixology chair.
