Sthitch Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 Texas Toast is not Bruschetta.I am not sure what you mean by this, but in Italy most places that offer Bruschetta it is simply a piece of bread that has been rubbed with raw garlic and then toasted over a fire and then drizzled with olive oil, and maybe a sprinkle of sea salt. What most people think of as bruschetta with a topping is really a crostini, but on thicker bread. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
