Beginning on May 15th, Nage Restaurant will offer three monthly dinners in conjunction with the Brewmasters from craft breweries to present a lineup of their brewery’s most unique and celebrated beers paired with playful and innovative cuisine. Each diner will receive five courses, all of which will be paired with a unique hand-crafted brew certain to bring the flavors from each meal to life and provide beer and food lovers alike with an inside look into the brewery and restaurant’s finest.

Brewmaster Dinner Series at Nage

May 15th: Favio Garcia of Old Dominion Brewery

Named one of the best breweries in the country by Gourmet Food and Wine Magazine, Old Dominion Brewery has been making the nation’s finest beer since 1989. Located just 30 miles outside Washington DC in Ashburn, Virginia, the Old Dominion Brewing Company provides classic flavors of lagers, ales, seasonal specialties and two new brews: Spring Buck Blonde Ale and Millennium Ale. Favio Garcia, the brewmaster behind Old Dominion will be presenting a flight of Old Dominion’s celebrated and innovative brews.

June 12: Sam Calgione, Dogfish Head Brewery

“Off-centered ales for off centered people” is this crafty brewery’s tagline. Dogfish Head is known for being an adventurous brewery and will introduce beers with off the wall ingredients such as brown sugar, apricots, chicory and licorice root. With worldly inspirations such as King Midas’ tomb and BerlinerWeisse brewing styles there are sure to be a few pleasant surprises for every palate. Sam Calgione, the founder of Dogfish Head will join his Nage beach-buddies to present a line-up of Dogfish Head’s celebrated brews.

July 17th: Troegs Brewing Company

The Trogner brothers began their small brewing company less than ten years ago and are one of the fastest growing craft-breweries in the country. Located in Harrisburg, PA, the creators of Troegs brewery mesh new American brewing techniques with traditional English brewing styles. With brews such as Troegs Hopback Amber and the Trogenator Double Bock this is sure to be a fantastic finale to the Nage Beer Dinners.

Reservations for the beer dinners can be made by calling Nage restaurant at 202.448.8005. Each dinner includes a five-course meal paired with craft brews and the opportunity to meet and speak with the Brewmasters and Chef. The Brewmaster’s Dinners at Nage are $75 per person and include five courses and their corresponding beer pairing. The price is exclusive of tax and gratuity.
