And people think we're not on top of things. This is a rare *live* version by the master himself.

"See the tree, how big it's grown,

but friend it hasn't been too long,

it wasn't big."

Here's a cover by George44.

"She was always young at heart,

kinda dumb and kinda smart,

and I loved her so."

And a particularly tender version by Larry L.

"She wrecked the car, and she was sad,

so afraid that I'd be mad,

but what the heck?"

"Honey" may well be the lowest depth to which Western civilization has ever descended, obvious things like the Holocaust excepted. Don, I thought you were on the side of Good, not of Evil. When and why did you decide to ally yourself with Satan?

You keep waiting for the clowns to walk into the room, but they never come.

I've searched endlessly for some sign of parody with "Honey," but I'm not sure there is one.

Imagine being a serious classical pianist at a cocktail party, and having everyone ask Larry to perform, which he does in earnest. <"Advise, we've had shots fired. Shots fired. Code 3.">
