Everyone wants to score... no one wants to play defense and rebound. Harden will likely be in the Hall of Fame as well eventually given more years of production similar to the last few.
Ok, but rather than discuss what players want to do, what about what players can do? After all, that's closer to the point Don was making. In terms of what players can do, surely Harden's offensive skills rank near the top of the league, while his others don't seem to. That does seem to mirror Rodman.

You forgot to add the new Ray's Georgian place

I'm expressing OUTRAGE on behalf of my mother. She was at a work conference staying at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria this week. She ordered a burger from her room to get via room service, and was not noted of any additional charges on the menu or over the phone. This is a super small hotel. She didn't get her burger for over an hour, they charged a $5 delivery fee AND a 20% service charge on top of that which wasn't noted as a tip or not a tip. So my Mom also added gratuity which meant her bill for a $15 burger was over $25, which is just absolutely ridiculous. She could have walked downstairs gotten the burger for less money and more quickly. They should be advising of at least the $5 delivery fee, which is more than some delivery services that deliver food from across the city charge. So if you are thinking of staying at the Hotel Monaco, walk your butt down to Jackson 20 and get take out don't ever order room service.
How was burger?

I'm talking about the burgers only. My point is that it's not fair to compare a $3 double cheeseburger to a $6-7 double cheeseburger, and either of those to a $10-15 burger. They're all cheap in the grand scheme of things, but there's likely a ceiling to how good a burger can be at each of the lower price points.
More people than not would say they're all expensive in the grand scheme of things.

Hey dum dums! Just take a note about where you are eating or compare the time stamp on the photo to your credit card statement. It will save us all a lot of time!

I've had some friends like RJ. You know the type: incredibly talented but just unable to stay out of their own way. I hope he finds some peace in north carolina.

Solid. Fun to watch the dumps get made.

I'm becoming a broken record at this point, but yes, I'm in complete agreement with all the above.

Now, this is not a flaw; it's just a choice, and I'm not sure it's an incorrect one (how's that for a passively written clause?)

I had Thanksgiving dinner at Brabo with my 24 year old son and his girlfriend whom had never met. The day before, I received an email from the restaurant reminding me of the reservation and asking if anyone had dietary restrictions. My son had previously mentioned that his gf did have some allergies so I asked him to send me a list. He sent me a list of 18(!) items she could not eat! After we had ordered drinks, the waiter asked about the allergies, and explained which of the dishes could be prepared with those restrictions. The restaurant even prepared a special dessert because the ones on the menu could not meet her restrictions. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating! And to top it all off, the food was incredible and the service outstanding! Thank you Brabo!
Bravo Brabo!
The restaurant sounds like a keeper. But that girlfriend....

The place I'm thinking of was near Buchanan. It was a Hot Shoppes, then a Roy Rogers, then Bob & Ediths, then Sauca.
it was never a hot shoppes, just Roy Rogers then Bob then Sauca. Hot Shoppes was further down on the left.
-
I was never a fan of the crowds or the lines or the drunks at the original Bob & Edith's; their second location in the old Hot Shoppes space further up Columbia Pike was an improvement, albeit short lived. I've been to the Crystal City location three times and every time, it was everything a diner experience was supposed to be. Burgers are solid, fries fried properly, coffee hot and fresh. Servers clean, fast, and professional. While I'll still go to the "Wafle Shop" in Del Ray for the ambience, I come here for the food.
Hot Shoppes was further down columbia pike. the short lived B&E was at the old Roy Rogers space.

What is a "Smashed Cucumber Salad?" Is it like "Compressed Watermelon?"
Can everybody tell I'm in a pissy mood tonight?
they'll do that in Sichuan a lot to sort of help it absorb the sauce:

I'm sure most major cities have ramen shops that do it a lot better than Momofuku. In terms of international chains, Ippudo is even better. I think it's mostly branding at this point.

In the vein of the dim sum smackdown, the xiaolongbaodown and of course, the phodown, is it possible a grand DC deli-down is in order?

I really don't get the resistance to this. We're at an incredible place where technology efficiently connects people who have something to someone who needs that something (e.g., time and a car to people who need to gets somewhere, Uber; extra space to travelers, Air BnB, etc). If someone has spare time and doesn't mind standing around outside, they can now get paid for that by someone who values his or her time more. It's awesome.

So, people are paying a premium via line standees ..rather Silverman collect that fetty, rather than some random dude exploiting the system... Guess it's just a matter of opinion. I'd pay the restaurant to avoid waiting, and I guess now I'll just use a Task Rabbit, like TS did.
But Silverman's already rich...

Line-sitter sounds like a great job for someone looking for a better job or someone without any other marketable skills. I'm glad they are getting these chances!

you're wrongfully assuming that wouldn't take a toll on his offense.
