I am not sure how the label compares to the one that they recently had, but the reversion to the old recipe started this year with limited roll-outs. I wonder if we'll see any of the new stuff (it comes in bottles apparently) out here. The Schlitz website only lists distributors in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. That would be an apt description of the relatives of mine that are so thrilled with it. I know my father for one is looking forward to trying it, this was the beer of his youth, and like many things in life he has complained that it is just not the same.
