The grill discussion got me thinking about fiorentina again, which led me to stumble across the Boots in the Oven food blog, written and liberally illustrated by a couple (pseudonymously "Mr. Pants" and "Girlie") who recently moved from Austin to Florence. It's entertaining just as a travelogue, but best of all they are both obviously, wonderfully, graphically food-obsessed. You'll get a few photos of a landmark or a vista or some intricate object, and then HEY LOOK AT THIS THING IN THE MARKET or LUNCH! Most of the pages make me want to book a flight there Right Now.
