Shoe Train in the Cabin John Mall has been our go to shoe buying destination since we realized the little guys feet were extra wide. The staff, from Ed, who owns the place, on down, are trained to take the time to really find the right show for your child's feet. There is a train set up to amuse the kids when the wait time is long and there is a toy store across the hall for extra bribes if need be. It is also around the corner from the the BGR Burger Joint so you can make a day out of it!!! I really trust their advice and while you end up paying full price, I think it is worth it to get a good fit. (Go early for snow boots--we got the last pair in the little guy's size the first part of December last year.)
