A couple of weeks ago, Calvert-Woodley had a special on gorgonzola dolce for $9.99 a pound. They ain't no pikers, I might add.

With my usual go-to blue cheeses Cashel Blue and Valdeon heading up toward and over the $20 a pound mark, and many other good blues way beyond that, I often find that gorgonzola dolce is the only reasonably priced, good quality blue cheese in the case. $10 a pound is an excellent price.
