Robert Wiedmaier on PBS, June 30th

I received this e-mail today--

4 pm today on PBS channel 32

The award-winning PBS series, Chefs A'Field, focuses this week on kids fishing with their chef dad on Chesapeake Bay and later in the kitchen. Chef Robert Wiedmaier, owner of Marcel's and Beck's restaurants in Washington DC, invited me to go with them and talk about the bay and conservation. It's an interesting 30 min show filmed from two charter boats last summer.

Other segments in the 12 part series show chef John Besh of New Orleans (called the "best chef in the South") and his kids going shrimping at night with Capt Lance Nazio, from whom Prime Seafood gets its Louisiana shrimp; another segment depicts the harvesting of bay scallops with Robert Taylor, from whom we get our Taylor Bay Scallops.
