I also received an email reminder to log in and introduce myself. I'm not in the food or wine business but do eat and drink my share of food and wine and have suffered DC's meager restaurant offerings in the early 90s - moving here from NYC was a real shocker. So much happier now!

Hello, My name is Maria and I am new to this board. I am so happy to be in DC now with so many food choices - when we moved here in '94 it was dismal! I can't wait to share my experiences and try some of the recommendations.
