Hi, everyone. My name is Julie. I'm super late in introducing myself. I actually signed up back in July of last year, but kept forgetting to make a post. It's extremely rare for me to post on message boards, actually. I'm definitely more of a lurker. I feel kinda too shy to post, I guess.
Anyway, I've been living in MD my whole life. I have absolutely no ties to the food industry whatsoever. I just love food. Period.
I first came across this forum when I was doing a google search on some local froyo place, I think? I can't remember exactly why. I think maybe I was looking for more information about a place that recently opened or something. Anyway, after reading through the forums, I really liked what I saw and signed up immediately. I'd really like to learn more about nice dining areas in the DC area, especially for large groups. I actually don't dine out very often, but I love hearing about great spots in the area.
