Hi, My name is Gene Laporta. I'm new to this site,but am looking forward to being a part of it. I was born and raised in Alexandria, Va. and have lived here for more than 50 years. I've seen this town go from a horrible restaurant town to a great one. The diversity of food here has become world class.
