Hello everyone. I am Gretchen, a very long-time resident of Washington, DC, always in Adams Morgan. I moved here when the Omega Cuban restaurant was the excitement here (in many ways) and well before it became an entertainment destination. I love our neighborhood for its many charms and virtues, and sometimes we eat just in the neighborhood. But I like to branch out, especially finding inexpensive but interesting places anywhere in the city. I am a foodie, as is my husband, so we like to cook at lot too.
