We are very excited about the following event--a delicious five course Champagne Dinner featuring the renowned cuisine of Michel Richard, accompanied by Egly-Ouriet Champagnes.  Michel Egly is a small récoltant-manipulant (grower-winemaker) and his remarkable champagnes have a cult following.  The wines are extraordinary and in very high demand.  As a bonus, wine broker Peter Vezan will also be in attendance.  Peter was named one of Robert Parker's Most Influential Wine Personalities of the Last Twenty Years with Parker  calling him the "true genius of the lot."

This probably should get moved to another thread - perhaps a "Wine and Champagne Tasting Meals Around Town" thread, but there just seems to be an explosion of these kinds of dinners. L'Auberge Chez Francois is doing a champagne cooking demonstration in early December consisting of:
